Happy Hollow Park & Zoo
Happy Hollow Park & Zoo, located in San Jose, California, is a small 16-acre (6.5 ha) zoo and amusement park that first opened in 1961. It was closed for major renovations in 2008 and reopened on March 20, 2010. Happy Hollow Park & Zoo is an Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) accredited member as well as an International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) member (IAAPA).
History
Alden Campen and Ernie Renzel of the Jaycees began planning the park in 1956. They paid $300,000 for the original 7.5 acres (3.0 ha) at the north end of today's Kelley Park.

Indoor and outdoor quarantine, surgery, and radiology are all available at this animal hospital.
Year-round classes for ages 12-months to adult are held in a hay bale-built education centre.

Please keep in mind that discounted admission tickets can only be purchased in person. Sales of admission and memberships end 30 minutes before the park closes.

PARKING
Parking is available across the Bent Bridge from the Entry Plaza at 748 Story Road or in the Leininger Center parking lot at 1300 Center Road.
