Amon Carter Museum
The Amon Carter Museum of American Art is a painting, sculpture, and photography museum in Fort Worth, Texas, United States.It first opened in 1961. Philip Johnson designed the building.
Works by Frederick Remington, Charles Marion Russell, Alexander Calder, Thomas Cole, Stuart Davis, Winslow Homer, Georgia O'Keeffe, John Singer Sargent, Charles Demuth, Martin Johnson Heade, and Alfred Stieglitz are among those in the collection . I've had Thomas Eakins' Deep Swimming since 1990.
Photographers from the United States include Laura Gilpin, Eliot Porter, and Karl Struss.
The Carter is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.
There is no admission fee. The experience is invaluable. Through our extensive collection and exciting exhibitions, the Amon Carter Museum of American Art explores the diversity and complexity of American creativity.

TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY, AND SATURDAY 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
THURSDAY, 10 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
Mondays, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day are all off limits.
