San Diego Zoo Safari Park
The San Diego Zoo Safari Park, formerly known as the San Diego Wild Animal Park until 2010, is a 730-acre zoo in San Diego, California, near Escondido. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in San Diego County. The zoo is home to a wide range of natural and endangered animals from the continents of Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America, and Australia. The park is located in a semi-arid environment, and one of the most notable features is the Africa Tram, which travels through the extensive African display. These free-territorial areas are home to antelopes, giraffes, buffaloes, cranes, and rhinoceroses. The park is also notable for its California condors.

All visitors are welcome at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. We offer a number of services to assist guests with disabilities in enjoying their visit. For guests with disabilities, the Safari Park offers special parking, restrooms, and access to shows, tour buses, and exhibits. Please keep in mind that there are some steep grades in the Safari Park. Inside the Safari Park, there is a free ADA shuttle service for guests with mobility issues. Guests who use mobility aids should consult the map for ADA pathways and elevators.
