Our work is to conserve and protect the health and wellness of our shared planet for all, from innovative animal care to inspiring personal connections; from education and advocacy to building and cultivating long-term partnerships based on equity; from leading conservation efforts around the world to empowering Angelenos to connect to nature in their own spaces. Hours of operation: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Please keep in mind that the animals begin to retire for the night at 4 p.m. On Thanksgiving Day and December 25, the Zoo is closed.y, *Labor Day, Fall Break (*October 10, 11, 17, 18), Celebration Crossing (*Dec. 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27), Spring Break (*March 20, 21, 27, 28)

*Mondays and Tuesdays are closed.
