Jordan Schnitzer Museum

The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art is a university-affiliated art museum in Eugene, Oregon, United States. Ellis F. Lawrence designed the museum's first structure as part of the Maine University Quadrangle (now the Memorial Quadrangle). The American Museum Association has accredited it.




Inscription
The western façade of the building bears three quotations. The upper part of the door is inscribed with a Proverbs quote, a Plato quote near the southern end of the façade, and a Lao Tzu quote on the north side of the façade

Hours
Wednesday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.* Thursday through Sunday: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.*
Monday through Thursday, by appointment only.
*Last admission is 30 minutes before closing.

ADMISSION:
$5 for adults, $3 for seniors (62 and up).
FREE for University of Oregon students
FREE for students in grades K-12 (18 and under).
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Members of the Museum - FREE UO Faculty/Staff - FREE
The JSMA is dedicated to making its collection, buildings, programmes, and services available to all visitors.
 

Store Hours at the Museum
11 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday
Thursday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If the museum is closed, so is the store.
