Chrysler Museum of Art
The Chrysler Museum of Art is a museum of fine arts in Norfolk, Virginia.
The Norfolk Museum of Arts and Sciences was founded in 1933. When millionaire William P. Chrysler, Jr. donated 10,000 of his personal collections in 1971, the Chrysler Museum of Art was created.
Collection
It boasts a diverse collection that includes anything from American and European art to mediaeval sculptures. Tintoretto, Paolo Veronese, Peter Paul Rubens, Diego Velázquez, Salvatore Rosa, Gian Lorenzo Bernini, John Singleton Copley, Thomas Cole, Eugène Delacroix, and Edouard Manet are among them., Paul Cézanne, Gustave Dore, Albert Bierstadt, Auguste Rodin, Mary Cassatt, Paul Gauguin, Georges Rouault, Henri Matisse, George Andy Warhol, Richard Diebenkorn, Karen Lamont and Franz Kline are among them.

Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
GETTING INTO THE MUSEUM
Please enter only through the doors marked "Entrance" at the main Museum entrance. Upon admission, all bags and bundles bigger than 11′′ x 15′′ will be scrutinized. Backpacks are not permitted in the galleries, however they may be checked at our complimentary lockers or coat check.
SNACKS AND DRINKS
Wisteria is open with Grab & Go choices from Wednesday to Sunday during Museum hours. Food and beverages are not allowed in the galleries.
A VISIT WITH CHILDREN
We are thrilled to welcome the next generation of museum goers. The galleries can be explored by children on foot or in a stroller. Please refrain from carrying youngsters on your shoulders.
