Stanley and Diane Novak founded the Long Island Game Farm in 1969 at 489 Chapman Boulevard in Manorville, New York. The zoo was created on 29 acres by Stanley Novak, his wife Diane, and their daughters Melinda and Susan (12 ha).

The Game Farm now houses over 200 animals. The game farm is an annual tradition for many individuals. The Long Island Game Farm is one of Manorville's oldest and most well-known enterprises, and it has been a key icon in the community since its inception. The biggest integrated children's zoo and nature park on Long Island celebrated its 52nd season in 2021. A family-friendly wildlife park and children's zoo. We have zebras, baby goats, emus, lemurs, wallabies, camels, alpacas, llamas, and our two-year-old giraffe, Bobo, among many other creatures. Our new all-natural playpark for kids is now open. Make sure to stop by our turtle cage! Plenty of open room for socialising, as well as picnic tables for taking a rest or eating lunch (We have a snack bar, but you may bring your lunch). Changing facilities are available. The zoo is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through August (Last admission at 4:00 p.m. please) There are no reservations necessary. When you arrive, purchase your tickets at the ticket booth. Parking is free. Adults pay $24.95 for admission. $18.95 Children aged 3 to 11 $21.95 Seniors (age 62 and above) and military personnel (with I.D.)
